Passengers can self-connect flights between Europe and the USA with a connection in Reykjavik (KEF), by purchasing two separate tickets,
- (e.g. one ticket from BOS to KEF and another ticket from KEF to CDG.)
- (e.g. one ticket from London to Reykjavik and another ticket from Reykjavik to the USA.)
When you self-connect flights, you will always have to collect your baggage, go through passport control and customs and check in again for your second flight.
Please note that check-in closes 1 hour before the originally scheduled time of departure for all departures from the USA, Canada, and Tel Aviv, and 45 minutes before all other WOW air departures unless stated otherwise (according to your booking confirmation).
When you book a connecting flight, whether it is with WOW air or another airline, we recommend you leave at least four hours between the first flight's scheduled landing and the second flight's take-off time.
Passengers who wish to self-connect flights on two separate tickets, do so at their own risk as stated in our Terms and Conditions.
