While we will always strive to ensure that all of our flights depart according to schedule, unfortunately, due to the nature of the aviation industry, it is possible that cancellation may occur from time to time.
If your flight is cancelled, we will always do our best to inform you as soon as possible of your options by text messages or email that was provided at the time of booking.*
If your flight has been cancelled by WOW air you are entitled to get a refund for your unused ticket with WOW air.
You may be entitled to other options instead of a refund due to cancellation but that depends on the laws and regulations applicable for each booking. For an example EC regulation no. 261/2004 allows passengers to choose between a refund or one of the following options:
- Re-book your flight with WOW air at your convenience, subject to seats available.
- Be re-routed to your final destination with WOW air at the earliest convenience.
Any compensation or associated costs incurred will be reimbursed to the extent required by any law which may apply. We recommend our guests to check if they have any travel insurance that may cover any related cost. This notice only provides you with information on possible rights under the law, it gives you no contractual right to compensation.
